The concepts behind Turner Jewelers started in 1989 at Shady Side Academy when Jim Turner’s art teacher told him to “go bang on some metal”, and a love affair started. From the early days of brass bowl raising, simple fabrication, and basic lost wax casting, Jim has developed into a skillful artist in the fashioning of metal. Tempered over time with industry experience and achieving the coveted Graduate Jeweler Gemologist designation from the Gemological Institute of America, Jim now brings his knowledge and passion to the public in the form of Turner Jewelers. Joining Jim in the store are Monica Turner and John Kunic. Monica is Jim’s wife and an Accredited Jewelry Professional, as designated by the Gemological Institute of America. John is a veteran jeweler who has come home to Pittsburgh from a long career in Youngstown, Ohio.

Turner Jewelers presents some of the newest and finest designers in the world. Some of the names may be familiar, some are new, but as a bench jeweler himself, Jim’s standards for quality are very high. Each piece of jewelry is inspected upon arrival to assure no minor defects exist that could tarnish Turner Jewelers reputation for quality.

At Turner Jewelers, our focus is you, the customer. We want to give you the best possible experience we can. That means that we custom order your diamonds for you, to your specifications, to your price requirements. We want to get you what you want, not to limit you to what we have in stock. Many of our products are available on a special order basis so you can have the combinations of diamonds and colored stones that you want. If you don’t see exactly what you are looking for, just ask!
